A reader asked Asher a fun question: what’s your favorite part about school? Here is what Asher said about his favorite part of school.
“My favorite part is recess because I get to run around and play games with my friends. I also really like art class because I can draw and use lots of colors. It’s fun to be creative!”
Asher’s Favorite Part of School: Recess and Art
Asher’s answer has two parts. First, he loves recess, because it lets him run, play games, and be with his friends. Then there is art class, where he can draw and use lots of colors. Together, they show that a great school day has time to move and time to create.
Why Recess and Creativity Matter for Kids:
Recess gives children a chance to move, play, and recharge. For example, a game with friends teaches kids to take turns, solve problems, and be good sports. As a result, they often come back to class ready to focus. Art class also matters, because drawing helps kids share feelings and ideas without needing the perfect words.
Many families see creativity as a gift from God, who made us in his image, as Genesis 1:27 says. If your child enjoys games on the field, the Soccer Edition shows how kindness and teamwork make every game better. Also, if school ever feels worrying, Fear Not: Asher’s Invisible Shield reminds kids that God is with them.
